Universitas Mulawarman Scholarship (UMS) for BIPA Program is four months non-degree program for international student to study BIPA (Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing / Indonesian for Foreign Speakers). This program is offered by the International Affair of Mulawarman University The main objective of this program is to increase and cultivate interest in Indonesian language among citizens from other countries.

Qualifications: Foreign nations | Completed secondary education or its equal | Minimum age of 18 year and not older than 30 year of age | Able to communicate in English | In good health as proven by medical certificate | This program is not only for student, it can be also for non-students.

Passport valid at least 6 month from applying (Scan cover and first page of passport)
Recommendation letter from education institution / professional institution on official letter and with signature (in English)
Two official photos (in color, background; red and white, respectively)
Essay about applicant’s purpose of study (in English or Indonesian, max 500 words)
Statement letter
A full body video that shows applicant explaining her/his motivation to join the program and what she/he will contributed as an Indonesian ambassador after completed the program (video must not exceed 2 minutes and can be in English or Indonesian)
